"A vast ice shelf hanging on by a thin strip looks to be the next chunk to break off from the Antarctic Peninsula, the latest sign of global warming's impact on Earth's southernmost continent.
Scientists are shocked by the rapid change of events.
Glaciologist Ted Scambos of the University of Colorado was monitoring satellite images of the Wilkins Ice Shelf and spotted a huge iceberg measuring 25 miles by 1.5 miles (about 10 times the area of Manhattan) that appeared to have broken away from the shelf."
Is this a natural occurance, part of the cycle of earth or is this caused by human occurance?
The debate rages on........

I understand the Earth is hanging and evolving, and I know this is a natural process of a cycle. Where I do get distracted is wondering if is caused by man or accelerated by human occurrence. I admit that I am not so sure.
One side of the debate does the "hair on fire monkey walk" (freaking out) telling us the classic, "We are all going to die......"
Another side says, "Wacko science, ignore it"
And, as always, in an emotional issue, there are people like me, who are trying to find good, solid, reliable information.
Nothing gets settled, no one gets heard.
The agendas are set.
