NEW ORLEANS — Leaping from the wrestling ring to the big screen isn't as odd as it seems.
"To make that jump, for some of the guys, is a natural progression," says Paul "Triple H" Levesque. "In a way, we're comic-book heroes. Whether you like what we do or not, we're theater, we're big, loud theater."
The precedent for wrestlers becoming actors was established with former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who has gone on to become a box-office draw. And with WWE now in the movie-producing business, other wrestlers have that chance.
