What do you expect from Obama's speech to the joint session of Congress? As I understand it, a speech to the joint session of congress is a pretty big deal, usually reserved for a moment of grandness and news to the nation.
Given the prime-time speech obama recently made I don't expect much of anything....if a mouse roars and no one listens, did the mouse really roar?
What will Obama really have to offer?
More "stimulus" (...jobs created or saved????), more shovel ready jobs (...not as shovel ready as we thought...)
Blame the previous administration? (internal polling shows most likely shows that naming Bush is not a positive)....still, 2.5+ years inot his administration is getting really old and boring.
Talk about the 2m+ jobs created? Don't mention the 0 jobs growth report...and the 5m+ jobs lost
Talk about extending unemployment for an additional 99 weeks? Where will that money come from?
Extend the payroll "tax cut"? How has that really worked out for the economy?
Blame the rich? Yawnnnnnnn.......old story, new book cover
Blame the Bush...then extended by Obama....tax cuts? If you did not like them Mr. President then you should not have extended them and made them your own.
Talk about how you are rolling back regulations to "stimulate" the economy? But then ignore the regulations your administration is imposing which will cost trillions to businesses and consumers?
So what will Obama unveil to the nation that we have not all ready heard?
O' put the nations interests ahead of politics? Then lead by example Mr. President and O' by the way......call out your own party members!
So I don't believe there will be anything the president can offer us....maybe a grand speech in a well fitting suit?
I will watch because I want to learn, I would like to be wrong, but I do not think I will be........maybe
So Newsviners, what are you looking for? What would you like to hear?
As always, subject to your review and comments
